ResNexus Enrolls in Twilio's FastTrack Program

Sometimes technology saves time. Sometimes, it creates problems.

Earlier this year, ResNexus began to see an unusual spike in our failed registrations for Twilio's text messaging service. It seemed applications that previously moved through the approval process were suddenly being rejected, often with explanations that didn't match what we were seeing or didn't make sense.

We diligently investigated the problem, tested changes, and worked with Twilio to try and find the cause.

Eventually, we learned an AI agent had been reviewing registrations and, in our opinion, was getting many of them wrong.

However, ResNexus is pleased to announce that we are now enrolled in Twilio’s FastTrack program. This upgrade allows our customers to bypass the AI agent so registrations can once again be approved in the timely manner they were known for.

Here's what happened, how we've fixed it, and where things stand today.

Why registration is required with texting

ResNexus has been partnered with Twilio for some time to help power our texting product.

As part of the partnership with Twilio, new subscribers are required to register before they can send text messages.

We've built a system that help our customers complete this efficiently, and reliably, leading to one of the highest successful registration rates in the industry.

Then, in February 2026, that changed.

Registrations started failing

Beginning in February, we saw a sharp increase in failed registrations.

The challenge wasn't simply that applications were being rejected—we've faced those before, and knew exactly what to do. The issue was the error messages coming back were often vague, unhelpful, or incorrect, in our professional opinion. Think of it like being told your guest's card was declined, but receiving a new, or wrong reason every time you tried to fix it.

That made troubleshooting difficult.

Our team worked quickly to investigate these failures, but each round of testing and verification took time. It also meant delays and frustration for you, our customers.

We pushed, and found our answer

ResNexus never takes no for an answer when it comes to caring for our properties.

After months of escalating, we found the issue. Twilio disclosed that it had introduced AI agents to review registrations. Unfortunately, according to the information Twilio provided to ResNexus, these AI agents were making the wrong decisions when it came to registrations.

ResNexus has enrolled in FastTrack

Once we understood the problem, we created a solution.

In July 2026, ResNexus paid for and enrolled in Twilio's FastTrack program, bypassing the AI review and sending registrations directly to human reviewers instead.

The difference is clear.

Registrations that previously failed are now being approved even faster than before.

For our customers, that means results.

What's to come: A2P 10DLC

Starting on September 15th, 2026, Twilio is releasing clearer A2P 10DLC registration error codes.

These codes will help identify the reason for the error, update the information, and resubmit the registration when it's needed. They will also help our team better understand how to help your property with the registration process.

Through enrollment in the FastTrack program, we can do more to ensure your property gets up and running in a timely manner.

What this taught us

AI can be incredibly useful, but automation is only valuable when it works. Our properties shouldn't have to wonder why a valid registration keeps getting rejected. Today, new text messaging registrations are going through human review and are being completed much faster than before.

We appreciate the patience of every customer who experienced delays. Now, we'll see our text registrations approved the way they should be: efficiently and reliably.
